Daniel L. Stober, MA, LPC
Counseling for the slightly off-kilter.
I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC). I have rights and privileges bestowed on me by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors. I'm not sure what all of those privileges are but I have a certificate that hangs on the wall that says I have them. I'd like a discount at Kerbey Lane Café but I guess the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors doesn't have that kind of pull.
I have a Master of Arts in Human Services with a specialization in Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. That would really impress you if you knew how much of a screw up I was in high school. "Does not realize his potential" was a routine statement in the remarks section on my report cards. That's code for "I think he's high." Don't do drugs, kids.
I am an Approved Supervisor which is better, I suppose, than an Unapproved Supervisor. This means nothing to the public, just certain members of society (you know who you are).
